Privacy Statement
Internatonal Development Community Accreditation Body (IDCAB) handles your personal data with care. Personal data means data that can be traced back to a natural person, for example a name, home address or an e-mail address.
The protection of this data is regulated in the IDCAB Data Protection (IDDP). This Regulation helps to protect the privacy of the general public and also applies to personal data that is gathered via the Internet.
Processing of personal data
Internatonal Development Community Accreditation Body (IDCAB) processes personal data in order to fulfil its duties as conferred under law; the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies. This can mean that the IDCAB shares data, including your personal data, with third parties for which it is responsible. These third parties are often natural persons who are requested by the IDCAB to undertake accreditation assessments on behalf of the Board of the IDCAB on the basis of their specific expertise.
Information about data processing
In principle, the IDCAB will inform you when it intends to process your data. The IDCAB will not inform you in the following cases:
- You have personally provided your personal data to the IDCAB.
- You already know which of your personal data is held by the IDCAB.
Personal data protection
The IDCAB ensures an appropriate level of protection for your personal data it holds, in line with the applicable legal requirements and guidelines.
Personal data retention period
The IDCAB does not retain your personal data that it processes for longer than is necessary for the purpose of the data processing or as required under IDCAB Policy.
Your rights
In the following situations you can submit a request via contact@idcab.org:
- You wish to know which of your personal data we process .
- You wish to have your personal data rectified .
- You wish to have personal data erased .
- You want us to perform limited processing of your personal data.
- You wish to object.
